I. PRECATECHUMENATE (17.09.2026 – 03.12.2026)

* 17.09. – beginning of the catechumenate, Holy Mass, at 18.30
* 26.11. – Holy Mass at 18.30, rehearsal before the Rite of Acceptance to the catechumenate, presence of sponsor obligatory

II. CATECHUMENATE (03.12.2026 – 18.02.2027)

* 03.12. – Rite of Acceptance to the catechumenate, Holy Mass, at 18.30, presence of sponsor obligatory – after the Mass – Agapa
* 06.01. – Christmas meeting, Holy Mass, at 15.30, traditional wafer meeting
* 11.02. – Holy Mass at 18.30, rehearsal before the rite and meeting with godparents

III. PURIFICATION AND ENLIGHTENMENT (18.02.2027 – 27.03.2027)

* 18.02. – Rite of Election (Enrolment of Names), Holy Mass, at 18.30, presence of godparents obligatory

Catechumenal Rites in Lent:
* Fabruary 28, March 7, and March 14, 2026 – three scrutinies: III, IV, and V Sunday of Lent

On these Sundays: 
Holy Mass at 11.30, the presence of godparents is obligatory

  • 04.03. – presentation of the Creed
  • 18.03. – presentation of the Lord’s Prayer
  • 21.03. – Palm Sunday – rehearsal at the Wawel cathedral, presence of godparents obligatory, after the Holy Mass at Wawel at 16.30

HOLY WEEK:
24.03. – Holy Wednesday, Mass with the rite of Ephphetha and recitation of the Creed, at 18.30
25.03. – Holy Thursday, Mass of the Lord’s Supper, at 18.30
26.03. – Liturgy of Good Friday at 18.30

Receiving of the sacraments of BAPTISM, CONFIRMATION, and EUCHARIST during the Easter Vigil on March 27, 2026, at 9 pm at the Wawel Cathedral (we meet at 8.30 pm at the Wawel Cathedral together with godparents)

IV. MYSTAGOGY (28 III 2027 – VI 2027)

* March 28 – April 4 – Easter Octave for the neophytes

  • 28.03. – Resurrection Sunday, Holy Mass, at 11.30 (neophytes in white robes)
  • 29.03. – Easter Monday, Holy Mass in their parishes
  • 30.03 to 03.04 – day of the White Week of neophytes, Holy Mass every day, at 18.30
  • 04.04. – Removal of white robes, 2nd Sunday of Easter, Holy Mass, at 11.30, Agapa
  • And the confession of the neophytes – about a month after baptism
  • May ?  – Holy Mass, 18.30 and rehearsal befor confirmation
  • June ? – Confirmation for people preparing in our Center for the sacrament of confirmation and the end of the catechumenate, Holy Mass, 18.30
  • June ? –  Saturday after confirmation a pilgrimage to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska at the end of the year of formation

*** People who prepare in our Center for the First Confession and Holy Communion or for confession after years receive the sacraments at a recognized date.
